Over the past 5 years, I have lived in a rental property unable to set-up a composting system. Reducing food waste was a critical part of living a sustainable lifestyle, so I searched and searched for the right system. Then I found vermicomposting. The only problem was the systems available were out of my freshly-graduated price range. So I found a way to simply replicate the worm bins I found online.

There was still one more problem, I wasn't confident that I could let the worms survive. After some trial and error, I found the best methods for a successful worm farm. My worms and I have successfully composted together for several years now. I would like to share my passion and expertise with you, so you can reduce food waste in your apartment or rental, too.
